Over the last 40 years, I’ve been a constant learner, not only through books, but also through life itself. From my academic journey in human physiology, nutrition and dietetics, to witnessing the changing landscape of health in India. I’ve seen so much evolve. I’ve seen how the government’s focus on healthcare has grown, how our medical facilities have advanced, and how people’s attitudes toward their own well-being have slowly shifted.

We’ve watched India transform: economically, culturally, and aspirationally. From the Gen X mindset of making ends meet, to Gen Z’s pursuit of purpose and progress. Disposable incomes have risen, lifestyles have become more ambitious. But amid this fast-paced growth, one thing remains consistently overlooked: Proactive Health. We still wait for illness before we pay attention to health. Through all these years, one question stayed with me: Why don’t we care for the body before it cries for help? Why not nourish it deeply, support its systems, and build resilience not reactively,but proactively? The belief that true care begins from within, is what led to the birth of Nutriwave. A movement to make proactive self-care addressible, science-backed, and part ofeveryday life.
